These oatmeal squares are soft, chewy, and packed with wholesome ingredients. Perfect for breakfast, snacks, or meal prep, they’re easy to make and naturally sweetened.

Ingredients

Scale

  • 2 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix oats, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, honey, applesauce, vanilla, and melted coconut oil.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Let the batter rest for 10 minutes.
  5. Spread the batter evenly in the baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
  6. Let cool for 15 minutes, then cut into squares. Enjoy!
